FileCleaner – is a new software launched by us on 27th June 2009.

In this blog, I am trying to cover all the questions that might come across to a common person about a new thing (or software).

What is FileCleaner?

FileCleaner is a temporary files cleaning software. It cleans the following temporary files.

Why FileCleaner?

Yes, there are lot of  softwares available in the market for FREE.

To explain this why, I must tell you the background of it.

Before, we develop this, we used CCleaner to clean up the temp files. Even though it is famous and popular, while we use we felt it is failing in some key areas like.,

Instant Cleaning: At times, as an user, I always hibernate the windows and never shuts it down. At those times, the temp files are never gets cleaned. I have to do the cleaning manually and failing which will lead to stagnation of unwanted files in the system. This will be a hindering point for users like me. I believe I can represent a common man, who wants to start the computer fastly (so we hibernate it usually).  For a common person, manual cleaning is tedius process and a thing to remember.

Secondly, while I browse, I normally visit many sites and would like to add it in favorites list. sometimes, I might forget or would like to do it at later point of time.

At those times, If I run the cleaner,  it cleans out everything including the important URLs that I would like to save it at later point of time.

Third, Secure Cleaning, Even though this option is available, its taking a hell of lot of time to complete the cleaning activities. The fastest secure cleaning will be of handy to users.

Finally, Instant messenger logs: Mostly the temp file or log files are either created by browsing or by instant messaging applications.  when some one wants to clear the privacy, it is ultimately their chat logs and their profile identities.  In the current scenario, I searched everywhere in the internet and could not find a single cleaner that cleans out the instant messenger logs.

The above said are the main problems that we have faced in CCleaner, which is commonly popular free tool.
